Poll! which genre do you like best? shoujo or shounen?

I enjoy Shouen the most. I HATE girly crap. And this is coming from a 14 year old girl!

Lean more towards shoujo because my preference in entertainment is character and plot-driven stories as opposed to a lot of posturing and stuff exploding. And I actually don't mind the romantic mush. In fact, I kinda like it.

Tho there have been some titles that were too shoujo, even for me, those are pretty rare.

I like them both. Actually, I don't care which genre they are in, and I like every manga that is nice and interesting. I like shonen manga like one piece, inuyasha...shojo manga like fruit basket, skip beat,Kaichou Wa Maid-sama...and some other manga like detective conan which I don't know is for girls or boys.

It depends I read both the story line has to be good though in each case :D.

I like both, but im more of a shounen fan. I love action, the awesome fight scenes and powers, stuff like that. As for the other one, I appreciate a shoujo series if the plot is nice, its well-written, and the good-looking guys.Hehe.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
