I am against it, especially the Muslim brand which degrades women The Bible seems to allow it, at least in the Old Testament, but it never recommends it, in the New Testament it is disallowed for elders in the church. All of Scripture frowns on it, as accounts are always describing difficult situations because of it. Muslims, (especially Taliban but others too) as they increase in number in any society, will work to change that society's laws. Of course in their society woman are treated like dogs. The Mormons have tried this for years. Women who are fortunate enough to escape will tell you that it is virtual slavery. You might as well live in the Middle East if you want that kind of setup.

They are told how to wear their hair, what to wear, marry men who are old enough to be their grandfathers, and are made to breed like cattle. In reality, it certainly is difficult for a woman to accept another in her husband's life, how would you like to live with four others with their children? Then, there is the realistic choice every night of who he spends the night with--ummm, choices for him but not for her.

How convenient. Ontario is accepting the Moslem tradition for Moslems, not for Canadians. It will never happen that women will have multiple husbands while this is a pateralistic society.

Multiple partners are seen as a sign of virility for men. Before knowledge of birth control, monogamy was the only way you could tell who a child's father was. For women in society, multiples are still viewed as an indication that she's a whore.

I mean then they get child care credits as well because they have to work and no one is there to take care of the kids. Let them be married. At least the kids will have someone to take care of them that they are actually related to.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
