AL East Red Sox 99-63( Beckett/Lester/Lackey owns division) Yankees 95-67(Can't keep it together and blows division in September)(Wild Card) Rays 88-74 (Not enough talent to really compete) Orioles 81-81( Wieters Blossoms into a top 3 catcher in League) Blue Jays 71-91( No Halladay = No chance) AL Central Twins 92-70 (overall weak division, ride Mauer and Morneau to title) Tigers 85-77 (Verlander will carry team) White Sox 82-80 (Cant get it together early) Royals 79-83 (Grienke has another career year) Indians 62-100 (Rebuilding Team) AL West Mariners 97-66 (Lee and Hernandez make it to one game playoff and win division) Angels 96-67 (Make late run to force one game playoff) Athletics 86-76 (vast improvement) Rangers 85-77 (Tightest Division in baseball) NL NL East Phillies 103-59 (Best Record in Baseball) Mets 100-63 (Everyone stays healty en route to wild card).
AL East - either Red Sox, Yankees, Rays, Blue Jays or Os AL Central - one of these teams will win: Twins, Royals, Tigers, White Sox or Cleveland AL West - I think it has to be either the Rangers, Angels, Mariners or A's. NL East one of the following: Phillies, Atlanta, Marlins, Nationals or Mets NL Central: take you pick: Brewers, Cardinals, Cubs, Reds, Astros or perhaps...Pirates NL West: the team who wins the most of these teams:Rockies, Giants, Dodgers, Diamondbacks or Padres. I don't spend my time studying all 30 teams and I'd have to in order to make an intelligent prediction.
Also I can't see in the future. The two times in my life time that the Tigers won the World Series I had a premonition--in 1968 about four hours before Game 7 and in 1984 when the Tigers wree 0-2 in spring training. I have no premonition about anyone in 2010.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
