Red: Sammy used to be in X-Force. He was one of the first New Mutants. But let's start with his childhood first, okay?
Sam Guthrie was born the oldest of 8 children in rural Kentucky, a poor, but very close-knit family. Sam's father died of "blacklung", a common name for a lung disease that coalminers get from backup of coal dust in their lungs, when Sam was about 16. So he had to start working in the mines to supplement his family's farm income, even though it killed his father.
Very soon into his new job, Sam's mutant power to project a kinetic blast field around his lower body to propel him through the air and make him nearly invulnerable surfaced, creating a big mess in the mines. So the Hellfire Club finds him, and they recruit him. But Xavier gets his claws into the boy pretty fast, and he becomes one of the original 5 New Mutants.
Sam is the only character to stay with the New Mutants throughout their entire existence, and was the first one to join X-Force, which makes him a ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
