Its necessary There are a number of issues, but it's necessary. It needs to be done. Having said that, there is another way.

California can and should lead the way, but they are also entitled to the profits of being the frontrunners. Tired of being screwed by "Enron? " Then become the new leaders.

Incidentally, technology can already deal with the water problem. Ask Dean Kamen. I also think "Carbon Offsets" are nonsense, unless used properly.

The money has to go toward fixing the problem, or it is just the proverbial spitting I the wind. Between solar, wind, bio, nuclear and geothermal, there is an energy solution that is workable today with current technology. Government just needs to lead and make it happen.

Sources: opinion .

This is only my opinion. Tehy can do anything they want now, but I believe it's too late. Really.

The damage has been done. All of a sudden their concerned with the cars we drive, our utilities. , smoke stacks.

We knew this was coming a long time ago. South Park used global warming for one of their skits. They said"they told us this would happen, but we didn't listen.

We didn't listen". It was funny, but it was also true. We ignored the warnings, and one day, we will pay."It's already happening".

Yes it is South Park. What we laughed at is the truth. It's already happening, and it may be too late. They can enforce as many precautions as they want, so we may linger a litttle longer.

We did it to ourselves. We didn't listen, We didn't listen! Sources: South Park and me .

CALIDEE_MOO! Said: 1 they haven't calculated the cost to the industries yet...there is fear that it will be quite expensive and this is the most ambitious effort by any state to combat global warming.. it will take months of meetings...to actually configure all the planning and necessary implementations to set this law in motion... they estimate by approximately two years time..the regulations will be put into place...i wonder about the trickle down effect on all of the consumers... how much of these expenses to industries and utility companies will be passed to consumers? We are already in a water crisis... very little resources to put out fires.... with the gas prices at a nonstop escalation... the governor crying .... "we're broke" let's borrow 15 mil from the State Lottery and impose a Sex tax... some cities in bankruptcy... who's gonna pay for all this?

Does it seem possible that this will work? There doesn't seem much left to go on...

2 I see some legal challenges, at the Federal level. Probably be tied up in court for years - what will that cost.

CALIDEE_MOO! Said: 3 hi Ich! You are right... I agree...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
