Prospective Law Student with some questions =D?

I don't need to have recommendations of which questions I might wish to answer. I can read and decide for myself which I wish to contribute to so, for me, the recommendations button should go. We probably need filters to remove certain words but with English being spoken differently on the two sides of 'the pond' that would be difficult.

If I type the word a*s*s without the stars it will be blanked but here in U.K. it is the name of an animal. The correct spelling is 4 letters long (an a, an r, an s, and an e) which would, almost certainly not be blanked but I don't wish to type it here because it is not a word I like to use. Some things we will have to continue putting up with because of language differences I think.

Trolls are a real pain as are high school 'seniors' who lose their way her VERY regularly but I don't see that changing very soon either. I would suggest that more people who are reported should challenge the report. Trolls do it deliberately and some do it because of a misunderstanding (maybe language problems) and some would do it just because they take offense too easily I think.

If reporters were named I think that would be bad though as nothing would be reported and the vilest of answers would never be removed. I wish the spell checker understood 'real' English and that whoever progammed it understood punctuation and knew that, sometimes, an answer requires quite a lot of it to be grammatically correct. I don't expect to see any of these changes though because I am English and the website is American and what I see as an issue will not be an issue to many Americans.

The senior section is the best section I have found & I would like it to stay as it is rather than it be as strick as other areas. We are like a group that gets to know each other & so we come back to see our friends. I wanted to start a birthday group where I could write Happy birthday so & so & everyone could write nice things such as "my favorite answer from you was when you said this" or I love the gift you share with us with your knowledge of history.

So one day a year could be a special day for that person. I do astrology so I would tell them a few good things about themselves. Glenda-great answer, ha, ha, oops!

I would also like an avatar book so if I haven't seen someone in a while & remember their avatar name I could pull it up & write & say "are you ok", then they could write back & say they had surgery or have been working a new job. I know friendliness is a no no hear but it keeps people coming back. So just in this section it would be nice unless there are other sections who have these connections.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
