Qt Jambi vs SWT for cross-platform GUI development?

I agree with Vinegar: Don't rule out Swing. I've developed both with Swing and with SWT, but not with Qt. With Swing, your code will be automatically cross-platform.

With SWT, your code is cross-platform with a little effort, although not that much effort. Are you going to implement a local application, an Applet, or a Web Start application?

That doesn't make it a bad choice. Qt has other community-maintained language bindings that live outside Trolltech's control.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
