Question for my Athiest friends?

I ,on average, hate religion. That makes me an antitheist, not just an atheist. I hate it because of what it ACTUALLY does to the world and what it says in its books, not just what an abhorrent follower does in its name.

For instance, the catholic church is directly responsible for the deaths of millions of people in aids ridden countries by telling them that condoms are worse. But if a bhuddist kills someone, it is not justified by the literature as the literature clearly states "KILL NO SENTIENT CREATURE" That being said, I am the voice you hear on any st. Judes radio commercial in the united states southwest and have done several benefits for free because St. Jude hospital HELPS people more than hurts them.

I judge any person or organization based upon their actions and I see nothing about that to be unfair. I side with religious people who demand the separation of church and state. I want to live in a world filled with less pain and anguish and pain and anguish are what religion has brought every time it takes power.

I would never think that people couldn't believe as they wish as individuals, but our leaders must be secular and considerate to ALL of their citizens. Our system is precisely made to protect the views of the few from the oppression of the many. Having a christian government does not lend itself to that.

Would you like to be judged by sharia law? Islam is growing in america and all other religions shrinking. Higher religiosity is always associated with higher percentages of things all humans find less desirable.

Poverty, disease, unwanted pregnancy, rape, violence etc. It is a BAD thing and this is not debatable.

People of religious affiliation sometimes pose this question and fail to see their own guilt for the same. The main problem comes from religions that insist you must follow their prophet, their path, their rules alone. When religions teach this they are the first to 'insult' others.

They are showing lack of respect and understanding. You expect others to give your religion respect that you won't grant others. This is especially done by all three of the Abrahamic religions.

Why would any real god be jealous of other gods? Why would any real god be upset by praise misdirected by lessor beings? It doesn't apply just to atheist, if there were none you would be at those who saw god/s from another perspective.

Either other religions or other denominations within the religion. The fact is religion wants everyone on the same page or to hell with them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
