I tend to prefer Radiohead. I like them both, but for some reason, Radiohead always appealed to me more. Plus, I love Thom Yorke's voice, though many would beg to differ.
They're a huge influence on Alternative, as well as Pink Floyd, but I've always thought that Radiohead is a bit more diverse, and that they're always coming out with great, original, amazing material. BQ: Swingin' Utters - The Stooge BQ2: OK Computer, Dark Side of the Moon.
Pink Floyd. I really like some of Radiohead's songs, but some of them seem to be more like sonic experiments than fully realized songs. They don't move me the way Pink Floyd's songs do.
Both bands are very experimental, but in my opinion Pink Floyd has released more consistently great albums, the kind where it's hard to pick a favorite track because they're all excellent. BQ2 Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon Radiohead: The Bends.
