Hi; Well it depends were your boyfriend comes from , is he suni or shia, and also if his family lives in the same country as you both. Fasting as a non-muslim will not be a sin to pursue and it won't be validated unless you are a muslim. You can convert into this religion by only saying it.

There is a phrase one must say and that its like a promise between you and God; to obey , follow, respect and learn about Allah every day of your existence on this earth.( LA ILAHA IL ALLLAH MUHAMED IL RASUL ALLAH) There is only one God ALLAH and Muhamed is his prophet. Marriage usually is prefered between 2 muslims, I m not sure if is haram to marry a non muslim. But you must know that the interest in Islam should come from you deep inside and not because you are into the guy!

Or that you want to impress his family or fit inn! Search more into it, learn how hard or easy it can be to adapt to a different lifestyle. No alcohol no low cut shirts, shorts, pork and even eatting at the so delicious burger king.

(unless it is in a halal burger king) oh and music also a big no no at prayer times, giving zakat, and of course going to mecca at least once in your life time, and many other things that come along wen you start following islam. Oh! I forgot the hardest one at least for me , the scarf.

Wear it one hot summer day when your boyfriend is not near, go out and interact with others as you normally do, print out a prayer or salat sheet and try to pray alone and if you are concomfortable with alll this and feel peace inside of you then go on and follow Islam. You will see the difference it makes in your life. But please do all this on your own.

Do good research and try to do it for your self! I personally believe Allah does not regect an intention of fasting from some one that trully wants to. Alllah is amaizingly mercifull and compasionate He sees deeper than us those who want to follow him.

You may want to post this question on one of those sites were the schooolars from mosques can aswer you to any question. Any ways good luck fulfilling your soul! :).

You can fast, no problem. Allah(swt) has shown you the true faith, and the right path. Allah hu Akbar.

And Allah(swt) has granted you the will to want to fast during this great month. So why not convert and fast this Ramadaan as a Muslim, because you don't know if you will be here to fast as a Muslim next year again. You do not know if you will see the next Ramadaan.

May Allah(swt) grant you many more ramadaans. InshAllah. May Allah(swt) keep you on this Earth until the day you convert to Islam, InshAllah.

May Allah(swt) grant you Jannah, and Keep you away from Jahannam, InshAllah. --------------------------------------... Edit: May Allah(swt) grant that your family accepts your submission to Allah(swt), And May Allah(swt) grant you ease in your Shahada and submission to Allah(swt) Ameen.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
