Ramadan, Muslims, do you hang out with your non muslim friends?

I feel like crying. Are we still friends? When someone posted a question quoting the Quran which said "Muslims shouldn't keep Jews and Christians as friends, you was quick to reply that it was a misinterpretation.

Now I am shocked at your negative comments. Besides all the negative vibes, Jews and Muslims were close until the 11th century and it was not Religion that caused that separation; it was politics. We must remember that it was Christians who sheltered early Muslims from the Pagans of Mecca. Christians and Muslims had few quarrels until the Crusade wars and even then there have been great friendships between Christian and Muslim warriors.

A good example was the friendship beetween the English King, Richard and the great Muslim General Saladin. Again, when the Moors occupied Spain Christians and Muslims worked side by side; there was no better known religious association; the Great Spanish Hero El Cid always admired and cherished Muslim warriors and El Cid was know to eat and drink with his enemies, In fact, Christians and Muslims always got along until Bush's invasion of Iraq. When Cartonists drew insulting pictures of Mohammad, the Catholic Pope was quick to condemn the Artists and called his drawings an insult to every Muslim.

When the US government tried to outlaw the public display of Merry Christmas, a popular Muslim cleric was quick to condemn the US for trampling religious traditions. When Christians and Muslims display non friendship among each other, it is definitely not the wishes of God. If every Muslim could make one good non Muslim friend; if every non Muslim could make one good Muslim friend; the world may well be a better place.

So where does that leave us my FRIEND? I love you..you know? And I really don't care whether you love me or not.

So what you gonna do about it..kill my love for you? I dare you!

True and good friends are very necessary. They can give you support and help in your problems and there is no life without friend. Search for them .

Good friends are one in hundred. So search for them and don't let them go.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
