Walaikumussalam, Sis. Yes, its obviously necessary and essential to follow the Sunnah. If we do not, we won't be Muslims.
Allah said,'' And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for his near relatives and orphans and the stranded traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.'' 59:7.
He again said,'' There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and who remembers Allah often.'' 33:21. He again added that,'' Certainly Allah conferred a benefit upon the believers when He raised among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error'' 3:164. Allah ordered mankind to follow the lifestyle of prophet Muhammad SAW.
The ideal lifestyle. The best way that a man can find to live his as a honest, trustworthy and modest person. Allah has made it mandatory to imitate Muhammad SAW's lifestyle.
Regards.
Sunnah is important aspect from Islam which means to follow foot steps of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh). Sunnah is healthy way of life which do not match our modern society trends. Like today its accepted as civilized to eat with spoon and folks, though sunnah is in eating with hands.
There is a wisdom behind every sunnah that Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) did. Today sunnah work as a miracle like eating black seeds have cure for every illness except death.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
