Everything needs to be looked at from the most important aspect of wrestling: telling a story. Wrestlemania 27 HHH vs Taker told the perfect story of 2 grizzled vets duking it out to find out who is the real man among boys. HHH told the story of a man who could do all he could, but just couldn't put the Undertaker away and Taker won again at wrestlemania.
Taker really did good as he has always done at making someone at Mania look like the streak just MIGHT break, but we all know it probably will not, as this is an illustrious streak. The finish to this match was clean and not an Montroalesque finish (I find it VERY stupid that Vince keeps trying to recreate this infamous incident, as the conditions will never be the same, it got alot of attention, leave it ALONE! Coincidentally twice now in CM Punk title matches) Surel, that crowd in Chicago was hot, but it was in CM's home town, and Chicago is a great town for wrestling crowds.
There wasn't really an in ring story to tell in last night's affair, just a story through buildup. WM 27 put on a damn good display of psychology and pacing, as body parts were worked to set up other moves, every big spot got a reaction, and the pacing was not to fast not to slow. Just because Cena pulls out some gutwrench suplex and some decent technical moves doesn't make for a 5 star affair ladies and gentlemen.
WM 27 Taker HHH was much better in my opinion, as you are comparing a decent match (cena vs Punk) to a great match (Taker vs HHH). Another factor is, 9 years from now we may still talk of HHH vs Taker WM 27. 9 years from now, last night's match will probably be forgotten between Cena and Punk!
I think it was a lot better in every way. Triple H v Undertaker was still good, maybe even a classic, but the match last night was incredible.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
