Well, explaining why people make such horrible decisions is always difficult. My guess is that he wanted people to know about him once he was gone, and the best way to do that is to do something newsworthy. One wonders why these people don't choose their last act in life to be handing out $100 bills, but maybe they know that killing sprees are covered better than giving sprees.
I'm not convince that every person who decides to do such terrible things is actually crazy. I think that each of us underestimates the damage that dark thoughts have on our mind. Knowing and believing God is the best way to keep yourself from dark, damaging thoughts.
Probably George Sodini's years of incorrectly coping with loneliness led him to dwell on very self-centered thoughts, to the point that he didn't value anyone who could not benefit him. Each of us has a choice to react appropriately to the good and bad that comes into our lives. If you react correctly, you grow and become a better person.
Otherwise, you begin down a path that leads to self-centeredness, bitterness, hatred, and in some cases, violence.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
