Redistribution of Wealth..I work and pay taxes...what's in it for me?

You seem to have missed the point of progressive income taxes.

1. They think it would be better if everyone did it. They do not think it would be better if only they do it.

2. The tax "increases" currently being debated are the work of conservative President George W. Bush.

Everyone conveniently forgets that he, not the liberals, had Congress pass a law saying that taxes would be lowered temporarily and then automatically go back up after several years (approximately the year 2010).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
