Well I am a lil confused by what you are asking BUT. Your old key number for basic will not work on the 7 Premium. Most of the time with crack there are activation programs called loaders.

If you have the loader all you have to do is click on it then click activate and then it will ask for a reboot. With Most of the cracked version that use a loader there is a Windows update that is going to show the OS and not being genuine and some features of Windows will be deactivated. Now if they did give you a new key then all you have to do is enter that number.
