First, congratulations on giving it a try. Second: lesson to learn: transcript building is generally a lousy reason to take a course, unless it meets some kind of requirement. Choose your courses based on your interests and career goals.
Third, there's an option you didn't mention: pick up a course in which you are interested that does match your schedule. Maybe it's just a semester course. Beyond that, take time to evaluate why you've not done well.
Have you tried a tutor? Have you tried a study partner? Have you met with your instructor for extra coaching, to go over tests you did poorly on, or to see what she/he recommends?
Is it memory? Math skills? Problem solving skills?
Reading problems? Did you do the assignments? Do you get the homework assignments?
How are your test taking skills? (especially if they are multiple choice type questions.) This analysis is especially important because it will help you deal with the next course with which you have trouble. Don't be afraid to take the hit.
Self-knowledge (this is not my thing) is a powerful thing. Don't be afraid to tough it out. Self-knowledge (I've been tested beyond my limits) is a powerful thing.
Woops look iin my source I put my answer in. The wrong box.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
