Remote mounts and the automounter -- What's new?

HP-UX 10. X ships with an automounter running with a -hosts option, so it's easy to just say "/net/hostname/directory/...", and the automounter will do the rest. If you like, you can put symbolic links in to make things easier, for example: /x1 -> /net/x1/x1 /usr/valid -> /net/x1/valid (Thanx to Brad Bass ) Alek comments: While this is convienent and easy to do, using explicit automount maps (ex: /home/username) is usually a better idea in terms of keeping things "tight" and maintaining server/disk independance.

More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
