Rename Virtual Directory in IIS?

If you just want to change the site name in IIS 7. Edit the applicationHost. Config file.

This file can be found in c:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config.

I assume you want to use a local shell script.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
