I've never done any aeration; I buy my fresh and saltwater from the LFS, allowing the saltwater to age... but assuming the vigorous mixing in of the salt at the store is enough aeration. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
