Because he is. ObamaCare is not a copy from the right-wing, because conservatives have consistently been against government control of health care. Factual knowledge isn't in your wheelhouse, is it?

There's a difference between what he wants to do with taxes and what Congress allows him to do. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with American Civics and the Constitution. His economic policies are statist, not conservative.

They are crony capitalism / corporatism more similar to fascist economic policy than to any limited-government / light-touch regulation promoted by the right wing. He didn't introduce anything because he never really did anything. Other people wrote those bills he sponsored, both in the Senate and in the Illinois legislature.

Looking at his bailouts of the car companies demonstrates his views - he collectivized ownership to his favored unions, while screwing the bondholders. The direction of his executive-branc power grab has been to advance leftist agendas. That he has largely been blocked from enacting his socialist dreams doesn't make him non-socialist.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
