Jimi Hendrix got into trouble with the law twice for riding in stolen cars. He was given a choice between spending two years in prison or joining the Army. Hendrix chose the latter and enlisted on May 31, 1961.
After completing basic training, he was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His commanding officers and fellow soldiers considered him to be a subpar soldier: he slept while on duty, had little regard for regulations, required constant supervision, and showed no skill as a marksman. For these reasons, his commanding officers submitted a request that Hendrix be discharged from the military after he had served only one year.
He could not have been any more awesome than he was- can you imagine someone like him serving today in Afghanistan- there would be no Opium Poppies left :) Hear my Train a'comin' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y2_aDVWf...
Alex Lifeson - Guitarist of Rush. On New Year's Eve 2003, Lifeson, his son, and his daughter-in-law were arrested at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Naples, Florida. Lifeson, after intervening in an altercation between his son and police, was accused of assaulting a sheriff's deputy in what was described as a drunken brawl.
In addition to suffering a broken nose at the hands of the officers, Lifeson was tased six times. His son was also tased repeatedly. Ir went to court and was an embarrassment for the Police as Lifeson sued them for over use of force.
Best song :- Tom Sawyer.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
