Ron Paul is the reason big government wears a rape whistle. Why not vote for this guy?

I will not vote for him because, I believe the government can play a greater role. If it is not for government intervention GM will be bankrupt and would shut down by now. The government intervention has now saved 1.7 million jobs in GM alone.

Now that company is making huge profits. Now they can't make cars fast enough. This will also boost other private sectors.

The government rescued the financial market from collapse. It was under-regulated. The collapse of some of these large institutions would have a serious domino effect affecting virtually every business and individual in the US.

Government actions have prevented a serious depression. We need more government jobs especially during recession. We need to hire more border patrol staff, and FBI agents.

We have to re-build our crumpling infrastructure. We need more air-traffic controllers as control towers are understaffed and controllers are over-worked. The FDA is understaffed and cannot fully monitor the food industry well.

We have corruption in Wall street, Medicare and Medicaid, With more law enforcement staff we can prevent fraudulent activities and save millions of tax payer dollars. The government should be big enough to be effective. The government should provide essential services that profit based corporations don't care to provide as it is not profitable.

We own the government and there is nothing wrong if we 300 million strong is the biggest employer in this nation. Money is money whether we spend it through taxes or through the private sector to get what we need. Please read my hub on Government spending and taxes during recession.

Well, let's see... If Ron Paul is related in anyway, shape or form to any of the past Presidents or to one of the royals of Britain, then yeah, he has a chance at the Presidency. It's obvious that our Presidents have been selected and not elected.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
