The idea is: Give the header an explicit pixel width (to manage its "size") Give it a negative left margin to make it hug the left edge (amount dependent on width given) Give it a positive left padding to let the text be positioned naturally (also dependent on width given).
Thanks Jon that was exactly what I was looking for! – Nathan Moraton Apr 28 at 21:55 One more thing: What if I wanted to compensate for a change in browser size? Would I have to use percentages?
– Nathan Moraton Apr 28 at 22:01 @NathanMoraton: Unfortunately I can't think of a way that would let the size (and necessarily also the position) of the header be dependent on the page's width and at the same time keep the text centered. – Jon Apr 28 at 22:07 Well to compensate for the size change I just upped the size of the whole body(I know that it probably isn't the best idea but it works for the time being). Thanks again for all your help Jon.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
