Q1. It wasn't that easy. Holly was in trouble in the match.
She was hurt by some shots. It was over quick though. Ronda was better than her other opponents and Holly was better on that night.
Q2. Holly is new to the UFC. She is undefeated if I remember correctly.
Q3. No. She lost fair and square.
Holly fought a great fight. She controlled the distance of the fight. She ran like Mayweather.
While running she was able to hit a charging Ronda. Ronda made poor decisions for most o the fight. She should not have ever chased her around.
She has been in danger of this happening for most of her short career. She leaves herself open to be hit and hurt because she comes straight in with defense. It got exposed in this fight.
Other fights she was able to connect and end the fight. But because holly was keeping her distance it allow Ronda to get more fatigued and make more mistakes. It cost her the fight and some teeth.
Look at how wildly she missed on strike. She threw punches so hard that when she missed she put herself in bad position. She ended up on the ground.
She was turned sideways. She was often off balance. Then it came to a crushing end.
In my opinion, holly holm had the perfect skill set to stifle rousey. Good movements to circle away from the clinch game of ronda, and excellent boxing and kickboxing experience to go along with that. From what I notice and I was wrong, holm didn't exactly lit her previous opponents up on the feet striking, and I was skeptical about her ability to finish people off but I guess she increased her performance by a notch against ronda.
Its called rising up to the occasion. And I do not think ronda is overhyped. If you look at her previous opponnents, they tried to rush through her and that played well in the hands of ronda who thrives in clinch work and moments where she could unleash a fury of strikes within her own striking range.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
