Just subclass the Item, and Mongoid will take care of rest, e.g. Storing type. Class TextItem Com/romanbsd/mongoid/commit/9c2fbf4b7b1bc0f602da4b059323565ab1df3cd6.
I don't know beforehand which fields should the item contain. Each category contains the list of the fields which are available. – Anton Apr 4 at 4:22 The Category will be, actually, the concrete Class of the Item.
Or I'm missing something. Can you provide a real world example of what you're trying to model? – Roman Apr 4 at 6:57 #becomes was lately committed to Mongoid's master branch, expect it in the next release :) – Roman Apr 15 at 10:25.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
