Farther than you can ever hope to shoot accurately at... depending on load and angle of trajectory (shooting parallel with ground vs firing upwards at angle) it varies from 3/4 mile to over 2 miles. If you could somehow aim accurately and fire the gun at a 38° angle for maximum range, the bullet coming down at over 2 miles away will still kill someone. Bullets never become 'safe' even if shot well beyond their intended effective range.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
