Not so sure what this is about, the use-case is a bit too synthetic. But you sequence tasks simply by using the await operator more than once. The equivalent of your code that fully uses the pattern would look like this.

You should use Task. Delay instead of Sleep for async programming and then use Task. WhenAll to combine the task results.

The tasks would run in parallel.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
