First of all, it's a long-established Republican tradition to run way to the right during primaries, then once nominated to become a moderate. At this point all the Republicans are trying to out-right each other, and nobody can do that better than Rick Santorum. How he would re-invent himself as a conciliatory moderate after the convention remains to be seen.
It would be easier for shape-shifter Romney. Secondly, the Republicans' problem this year is not with their candidates, it's with the whole party's agenda. Bush failed just enormously, but the party hasn't been able to come up with any new ideas, they stand for a return to the same failed policies and programs.
They are not running behind because they've only got clowns running in the election, it's the other way around. I think the party's leadership knows, at some level, that they can't knock Obama out of the box, so the real candidates are sitting this one out, waiting for a better chance in 2016.
Santorum is not that likable and most people do not even understand the issues. Men though Palin was hot. Many woman voted for Clinton because they liked his looks and he was smooth.
Don't give US voters too much credit.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
