You've heard of internships where people work for little or nothing to get exposed the field you have majored in, both for the practical experience as well as a little exposure to report on your resume. Sure seems like you should actually work in your field before considering piling on a higher degree, (Though something like a masters in psychology for example, is very limited compared to an MD) The Grocery job seems like it would be no aid in advancing your "career", can't guess about moving not knowing more, some advise you have 6 months living expenses saved up before venturing to a new place, where not already working will be an obstacle to finding housing. Is there any freelance home based work you can do in your field of expertise?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
