Depends where you work, how much, if this is cosmetic or medical etc. Many doctors are paid by procedure, not by salary, so it depends on demand for services and billable hours that are actually paid. Cosmetic procedures require clients with actual money because insurance doesn't cover aesthetics. Doesn't matter since I suspect you're years away from being a surgeon of anything by the nature of this question.
