ScrollViewer vertical scroll bar reserving space?

What you describe should not happen, possibly some panel you use is restricting the layout, consider this simple example.

Try setting VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" :) The default one is VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Visible".

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
