Semi-transparent AppWidget?

See the answers to How can I set an entire view's alpha value in api level 7 (Android 2.1).

I don't think this'll work as I need to set alpha on a widget view, and cannot access it directly. – Ollie C May 14 at 9:51.

As far as I can see the only way to do this is to use a semi-transparent drawable (perhaps a 9patch) as there appears to be no way to do it via RemoteViews.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
