Senate Hopeful, Richard Blumenthal lied about serving in Viet Nam?

One of my fiends served in Germany while Desert Storm was going on, another is serving in South Korea while there are wars in Iraq and Afganistan. This in no way belittles the contribution they are making for the nation. They have pledged service and deserve respect.

He misspoke giving the impression he served "IN" the war, and it was a boneheaded mistake that he was right to address, but I for one am willing to cut him some slack for this. What is important now is the issues. Just for the record I also live in Connecticut.

He's a liar and should be voted out. If he would lie about something so easy to check what else does he lie about. Will he be the next person brought up on a scandal and say I didn't have relations with that women.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
