Seven of the keys on my HP laptop randomly stopped working?

Seven of the keys on my HP laptop randomly stopped working When I opened my laptop this morning to check my email, I noticed that some of my keys were not working. I have had sticky keys before, but since it is more than one key I didn't think it was that. I shut down the computer and carefully removed the 'w', 't', 'y', 'i', 's', 'k', and 'x' keys.

I cleaned the keys using compressed air and checked to make sure all the keys were actually going down, but no luck. The laptop isn't even two years old yet and there haven't been too many problems with it yet. There hasn't been anything spilled on it as far as I know(I wasn't the last to use it).

1 Maybe use some rubbing alcohol to clean under the keys. Just blowing compressed air is not enough if there's goo in there. Has it been hot where you are?

Emilykp replied to post #1: 2 I tried the rubbing alcohol to no avail, but in the process cleaned all of the other keys(what a mess). It has been quite a bit warmer than usual here. Is there anything I can do if the plastic membrane is the problem?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
