Good idea, not a great idea but a good one, it would have been a great idea 8 or ten years ago, but right now it is a good idea because Shaq is at the end of his career but can still contribute, he is a superstar player who can bring in fans and there is the Kobe rivalry in addition to the Celtics VS Lakers rivalry. It could get interesting if Shaq is healthy.
It is not a good idea. It is not a good decision if Boston wants to build a championship team for the coming years. It is obvious that they want another chance for the title with their Big 3 still intact but health will always be an issue here.
NBA teams play 60 or more games a year for the regular season and more games if they go beyond the playoffs. Players like Shaq, Garnett, Pierce and Allen has played so many games before and their bodies are not as great compared when they were in their prime. LA, which they consider their major rival, has young players and the "old" ones are Odom and Fisher.
Although Kobe and Gasol are veterans, they still have more than a couple of years to maximize their prime years. Shaq is definitely due for retirement and Garnett may follow in a year or two. Boston should build a young team around Rondo who is obviously one of the best point guards in the NBA today.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
