Okay, so lately I have had this same question you're asking. I am an Xbox fan and a console gamer. I play all types of games you can think of, RPG's, FPS, Arcade, anything that catches my interest.
I am mainly a multiplayer type of gamer, I hate single player games. So just last week I purchased a gaming pc from iBuyPower and I spent $1,500 for a top notch computer. I been doing some research and I have learned a lot about PC gaming.
It seems that of course PC games has so much better graphics, they blow PS3's graphics out the water. They have cheaper games (which means in the long run, it's cheaper) with Steam sells and the Mods that you can do for free makes games more interesting. There's so much more that a PC can offer that an Xbox can't.
You can Mod on Xbox but if you get caught, you're banned. I think a console is good for when you want to play with friends, or your friends can't afford a computer, or friends come over, then console all the way. Also for exclusives because majority of the games that come out for PS3 and Xbox comes out for PC too.
PC has a HUGE selection of games including a bunch of indie games. If you can afford a gaming PC, get it, but also have your console on the side for occasion use with friends and family etc. The PC I bought from iBuyPower has the following Intel Core i7 3770k Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 670 16GB G. Skill Rip Jaw RAM 1TB HDD Blu-Ray Rewriter and it came out to $1,500.
If you can do that, go for it. You'll be able to handle any game on highest settings with no lag whatsoever.
Console. It has more and better games. The one advantage PC gaming has is the rts games, which is my second favorite game genre.
Console will never beat PC is terms of graphics and raw power because PC can always be upgraded at pretty much anytime. Console only gets upgraded every 5 years or so.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
