Should Canada have extended it's Lybia mission?

No let this country and other countries govern themselves.

This is a really hard question. Morality says 'yes' but practicality and economics say 'no.

If this were the 90s with excessive government surpluses, I would encourage the UN mission. It would also be easier to support if there was an easily defined objective, as we had in the first Iraq war. If the opposition were more organized and effective, it would be a better call.

What you have right now is an intransigent dictator versus a poorly organized opposition.

We need to, as they say, shit or get off the pot. If we want to win, commit a large amount of money and tropps NOW. If we don't have the money or time for this, we should relegate our activities to advisement and material support.

Right now, I don't think we have time and money for this. We should focus on creating jobs if that is at all possible.

Morally and Practically - no. It's just another war of resource grabbing and financial control.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
