Data Review • What is the timing of the review period? From the 11th to the 21st of the reporting month, reports are reviewed by the prime recipients. This review is particularly critical when a prime has delegated reporting requirements to sub-recipients.
If a prime recipient notes a mistake in a sub-recipient’s report, they must contact the sub-recipient and have the sub-recipient make the correction. Only the party who initially submitted the report is able to make changes. NIH can see the data at this time and due to the limited time available for agency review may actually begin a preliminary review prior to the 21st.
