Should Donald Trump run for President in 2012?

As an outsider I find it interesting that people would dismiss someone with business ability when your country is virtually bankrupt & has a debt measured in trillions of Dollars! The clowns you've got running the joint now aren't doing such a marvelous job & that debt didn't accumulate in one term so there's obviously a systemic problem that is in urgent need of repair.. Personally I find Trump an obnoxious egotist but maybe that's what your government needs to get your country out of the humongous hole you're in at the moment.

In our society, rich politicos can purchase a political office, even the presidency. Heaven knows, Trump could probably walk away with buying the White House. Would I vote for him?

Probably not. Bravado and money doesn't mean a person knows how to run a nation. But alot of a people could certainly be enticed into voting for Trump by his stash of cash and boisterousness.

It ain't called the liberal media for nothing. They have been busy attacking Trump because he is their main enemy. They are afraid he will become even more popular than he already is.

The media is doing all it can to shoot Trump down...... and Trump is giving them plenty of ammunition....... and.... it keeps some negative attention away from Billary.... as soon as Trump is dealt with they will switch to a more broad attack against all the rino republicrates......... Trump will not be the next President.... even though... sadly... he is the best one running.... that says a lot about the state of this countries leadership....

No, he is a "promoter" not a politician. I believe he would get very bored very quickly. Last night at the gathering in Washington he was roasted pretty good by the President and others.It didn't look like he enjoyed it that much and that event was only for fun.

Wait until the race actually starts. The Donald is in over his head on this one. He's a great promoter and businessman.....why would he want to suffer the disgrace that is politics!

I think Trump running for president could possibly be good for our financial status economicly he has made milions and millions of dollars and has proved to be good in buisness. Don't ya think that a man that successful may possibly pull us out of the debt our country is in? I'd say he's got a pretty good chance on that part of presidency however when it comes to decisions of war and so on I don't know that he would be any good in that department.

But I know who I will not re elect back in to office and that's Obama. He's another one who is doing nothing for us.

I'd rather the next election not be a circus, the way the last one was - so, no.

In a word....no. He is not the answer to our problems.

I say yes. And only because he frustrates the Republican party.

I don't think it is a good idea. He is far to egotistical to put the wants and needs of others ahead of himself. He would be a horrible president if elected.

That won't happen of course, but it is a scary thought all the same. I would like to buy the man for what he is actually worth (not much). Then turn around and sell him for what he thinks he is worth (much much more than my cost would be).

That would be a great profit.

He may be financially supporting a political group already. Money can act as a buffer against the harsh realities of life. Will he be able to emphasise with the not so fortunate?

Donald Trump is a popular and successful multi-millionaire. He is not the type person that can bring the country into political, economic and social focus. I just don't see that in him.

I think we would add fuel to the flame to elect DT as president of this country. We've been there and done that before. Why repeat what we know does not work?

Yes. I think he would be a great business man for the country.

Yep and he will be at a disadvantage because only congress can declare bankruptcy, he doesn't have much more in his repertoire.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
