Just keep working at it. I admire your attention to detail. People very mistakenly believe, English to be an "easy" language.
Those that believe that, have the most tenuous grasp of the very basics. It is the 3rd most complex-ed language known on earth. We have several various names for the same words, that's just the beginning.
The English dialogue also has one of the largest vocabulary's of all languages. Then, there's the dialects, and the accents. Not to mention the principalities, colonies, and islands who still use English as a first language.
It is a - highly - complicated language. I am just really flattered to see somebody asserting the deserved attention to it, as opposed to half-assing their way through conversations, forcing the listener to have compassion for their lack of knowledge and grammatical basics. Just keep working on everything you do.
As someone who is keen to be perfect, those you converse with, will be much more likely to have much more patience with you. Keep up the good work.
There are very few people who manage to learn any foreign language to a level at which they can actually pass for a native speaker: I lived for nearly 20 years in French-speaking countries, and even then French people could tell that I wasn't French (though it sometimes took them a few minutes, and I was delighted that they usually thought I was Belgian rather than English). If you can understand without much difficulty what is being said in the language, and are able to talk to others without them having much difficulty undertsanding you, that is pretty good going.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
