Should I buy a brand-name "cookie-cutter" computer like IBM®, Hewlett Packard®, Dell® or Gateway®?

Looking at brains in one of the big "mega" stores can be similar to looking at shirts in a department store. There are so many different kinds and colours available, but in the end they're all just shirts. A plain white shirt may cost $15.00 when compared to a similar white shirt with a brand-name that sells for $30.00.

In the end, they're both white shirts and you are only buying the name. Buying a brain is somewhat similar with one major difference. Buying a brand-name brain will present you with a computing solution that someone else has dreamed up (usually based on price and market conditions) with no thought what-so-ever on what YOU might need.

Sure, they'll say that their warranty, service, and technical support is the "best", and some in fact may be better than others, but in the end, what you're buying is nothing more than a case full of limitations. Expansion or upgrading may not even be an option. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
