It's available on most newer plasmas and while a "last chance" option if you have it it may help That said, LCD/LED flatpanel vs projector is a pros and cons question Projectors have really come down in price in the last couple of years. You can get a 3D capable 1080p projector for $1500, and a 1080p 2D projector for under $1000. However, they work best in a dark room, require a screen (and screen quality can be important), need expensive lamps replacing every 2-3 years, and need an external sound system (and TV tuner (e.g. Cable or satellite box) if used for TV).
On the other hand, they certainly provide the BIG picture and are great when there are more than 2 or 3 viewers HDTVs obviously give a smaller picture, but have a long lifetime, don't need lamps replacing, are usable in brighter room conditions, etc Most people will tell you that an HDTV gives a brighter picture and one that somehow looks "better" than a projector on a big screen. I think this is due to HDTVs having smooth glass screens, while projector screens are generally more a matte finish and therefore the projector image looks softer and more film-like, while the HDTV looks more like HD video Which works best for any individual is a personal thing and I won't attempt to judge for you. I suggest viewing both TVs and projectors under conditions similar to how you would use it at home Personally I have a 50" plasma and a 110" screen/1080p projector setup.
The HDTV gets used mainly for TV viewing, but the projector is where we watch movies (and occasional sporting events where there are more than 3 viewers). If I could keep only one, it would be the HDTV, but I would miss the projector The links are to a good site for projector reviews and a Canadian supplier for projectors.
I have a projection TV and I will NEVER go back to the regular tv! Yeah, I do have to buy bulbs once in a WHILE but it is soooo worth it! Especially for xbox and Ps3!
This is the one I have.
For me LCD not projector because some problems of projector is convergence.
The ViewSonic PJD5123 Projector is an effective and economical solution for movie viewing and PowerPoint presentations. Projecting from 25' it creates a bright 8' wide image. I connect it to a laptop with Bose Companion 2 Series II computer speakers creating an exceptional audio video experience.
I use a Logitech wireless mouse to control presentations. You may need a case for the projector and possibly a longer video cable than the 6' cable provided. I am completely satisfied with the quality and performance of the projector and would recommend it to anyone in the market.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
