Should I find a real estate broker or should I attempt to sell my home on my own?

Selling your house does not have to be a complicated procedure on your own, but it can be time consuming. While it of course biased because they want to sell houses it does have a lot of helpful information.

However, if you do want to sell your house yourself you do save that commission of usually around 6% or more. The downside is you don't have the advertising power of the MLS service and you have to do all the work yourself. It can take considerably longer to sell your house on your own which often means a lower selling price.

The thing to consider is how much work you want to put in and if you think you will sell it in a quick enough time and for a good enough price to make it worth it.

Contracts- there are now so many legal contracts that must be used when buying/selling a home and are paramount to a transaction.

For an individual without legal/real estate knowledge to complete these properly would be a tough task. Contracts mean everything when it comes to a real estate transaction. 2. Marketing - Brokers and agents utilize a myriad of tools to market and sell property.

There are paid affiliations used, websites and other "pay to use" tools that are vital to a successful marketing campaign to sell your property. An individual who isn't licensed does not have proper access to these valuable tools.In the end, the choice is obviously yours but in my honest opinion, paying 6% (3% to your agent and 3% to buyers agent) is well worth it. Utilizing a licensed individual protects you in many instances in case something goes awry.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
