I believe that men should help with the housework. Men are part of the home, so they should contribute some work. It doesn't matter how little or how big the contribution might be.

Regardless of the amount of work done by men, it'll still be greatly appreciated by women.

I disagree that if the wife is home all day that she was that busy. I was a single parent with 2 boys for a few years and though at times it's tough, day to day it isn't that hard. That said, if a guy gets home from work and his wife needs a hand or he just wants to give her a break , then of course he should but to say that after working all day he should do this to make a happy relationship is wrong.

How did moms do it when they use to have 10 kids, no electric appliances or running water, etc.

Unless the wife/girlfriend does absolutely nothing all day long (no kids, no job, not handicapped), then 100% yes. The balance doesn't have to be 50/50 for every chore, but both partners should have a stake in housework. My wife and I both work full-time and have arranged our schedules so that we both take time staying home with our two young children.

Therefore, I know exactly how demanding child-rearing is and don't think less of stay-at-home parents who need the help of their working spouse in order to complete the household chores.

Yes, they should. Whether the mother works or is a stay-at-home mom, she still has to tend to the kids. She can get most of the house clean, but with kids, keeping it clean is a hassle, so he should help pick up a little when he gets home to take off of her workload and let her rest a little.

Im with you. But the reality is, that it depends on his and the womans culture.

It depends on the situation at hand. In this day and age most women are outside of the home with a job. If this is the case, yes, both parents should share the chores and problems a child brings.

If the mom stays at home, she should be in charge of the house. If there are only one or two children to be looked after, she should have time to take care of a three bedroom sized home. Also if she is a stay-at-home mother, it depends on the number of children in the household.

I knew a family in Tampa, Florida with 12 children. Both parents taught the eldest children to help with the others so more than two adults could help around the house. Marriage is a team effort in buying a house, making choices, having children, and taking care of those children.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
