Mr. Romney initially lied re his residency on his Massachusetts income tax forms, relating to the time Mr. Romney was in Utah with the US Olympics. He later admitted that he had filed as a Utah resident, in order to save on state income taxes. And was allowed "retroactively" to amend his tax returns for both Utah and Massachusetts, so that he could run for governor of Massachusetts.
Not a great record of truthiness. Now, your question actually implies something else altogether. Mr. Romney was never a "non-resident alien."
That would mean he had not been born in the United States. Something that only crazies would believe. (Same applies to those who believe President Obama was not a US citizen, informally referred to as "birthers."
Both of these ideas are crazy.) But the more important question is one of transparency for someone who wants to be elected to the most important position in the world. Mr. Romney is running for President of the United States. This is a position of Trust.
Ronald Reagan said, "Trust but Verify." Mr. Romney has said, "Trust me," re his tax returns. It is not unreasonable for voters to want to "Verify.
It is not just liberals who want to see Romney's tax returns. It is 63% of American voters who do. The longer Mr. Romney delays, the more suspicious it appears.
Obama released 8 years of tax returns GW Bush 10 years Clinton 12 years GHW Bush 14 years George Romney 12 years.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
