Should Pope John Paul II be canonized as a Catholic Saint after his beatification?

Or we could just pretend he never existed since he, like other popes likes to protect pedophiles and does nothing to help end prejudism.

I believe a saint is defined as some one who has lead an exemplary life. Sometime this is so obvious that mankind or institutions can see this. However, in the majority of cases, there are many saints who go unnoticed and have lived in obscurity.No one becomes a saint for the sake of public recognition only.

Each religion has there conditions for an exemplary life. Many of us define exemplary life in our own way. Therefore, there are many more saints than what the Catholic Church sees.

To me what they see is irrelevant. Because the eyes of the Church is unreliable. The Church have even killed many saints cruelly by burning them to the stakesMany see saints in their personal life.

He may be a father who did his best to provide for his children under difficult conditions. A soldier who sacrificed his life so that others could be free. A fireman who risked his life.

A President who has to make a right decision that was unpopular . These men and women need not be perfect to be a saints. You might be one even though there is no beatification or canonization.

Pope John Paul to me is a saint, whether he is canonized or not. Unlike other Christians, he was able to keep his mind open wide enough to be inspired by God. He was honest enough to admit the wrong doings of the Church.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
