Should prisoners be allowed to vote in the elections this year?

You do realise all this is is EU law overruling British law, like the Lisbon treaty overrides our own constitution - we are no longer a self governing sovereign country, we live under the Lisbon treaty which we have no power to change at all whilst we are in the European Union. The human rights courts of Europe are also the ones that stop us deporting illegal immigrants and terrorists, print thousands of school diaries with Islamic holidays marked but with no mention of any Christian ones and do things like this which the agenda-less BBC didn't report because the EU helps fund it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEkelAsmc...

Sorry but cannot be bothered to read all of it, but I work for HMP in England and the urge to vote amongst the prisoners is just about Nil. There was an article about this in the prison newspaper and just about no one is interested. The one thing that is seldom talked about in an hours recreation is politics.

Lot of fuss about not a lot. Some of these MPs should have a few jail visits and see how interested these people are.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
