No, but perhaps there should be an IQ prerequisite.
No, definitely not. There is already too much of a tendency these days to treat parenting as a kind of rocket science, when it certainly is not. However, I would suggest that there should be more basic information available in all hospital delivery rooms about safe options for the child (for people who were not happy about having a child or who were trying to hide the fact they were pregnant).
Like, how to arrange for an adoption, etc, if the person was not planning/wanting the child. To keep the child safe, I mean. Not saying hospitals should be forcing this on people at all, just that the info should be laid out there (e.g.In a booklet) for people who might need it but are scared to ask.
But to answer the question, definitely no to any form of mandatory training, regardless of circumstance.
Oh, that's really interesting! I like this question a lot. I think it could actually be very beneficial, but difficult to enforce.
I've noted my frustration with the present system in hubpages.com/wheres-my-life-manual.
It would be nice if people had to pass a test in order to get pregnant but nature doesn't work that way so I would have to say no, simply because it would create a new bureaucracy. It probably will happen some day. The current population of the planet is 7 billion, about 3 billion more than can be sustained.
China only permits one child per family. They have roughly the same land mass as the US but a population of 1.3 billion compared to the US's .3 billion. If the US population grows to anything close to that of China we will probably see similar restrictions.
That's hilarious. How could anyone think about that.
No they shouldn't. Why would anyone want a law like that? When it gets to the point that people can only have kids if they pass a course, it's time to leave that country.
This makes communism look pleasant.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
