I think it depends on how it is handled, if it is a static page where I can pay my respects and perhaps upload photos of that person I think it is a very nice idea. BUT If it is managed actively and my dead relatives are sending me Farmville swag I could consider that tasteless* * Now that I think about it, it would be in keeping with my dead cousin's sence of humor.

If it is acceptable to those involved. A profile in memory however, is not the same thing as social networking with a dead person. It is a memorial, like Elvis fan club.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
